What is the free diagnostic trial?
The free diagnostic trial is a one-hour, one-to-one session. We assess your child’s current level and put together a plan for future lessons.
What happens after I submit the form?
A member of our team will be in touch shortly to confirm a few details and book a time with a matched tutor.
Do you offer online and in-person lessons?
Yes. In-person sessions can be at home or a library, depending on what suits you and the tutor. We travel to every suburb listed on this site. If you live outside that area, please ask — we’ll let you know whether we can help.
How do you match a tutor?
Tutors are matched by proximity and year-group expertise. If you have someone in mind from our team, we’ll consider the request where it’s a suitable fit.
Are lessons one-to-one?
Yes. All sessions are currently one-to-one.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancel with more than 24 hours’ notice and there is no charge. Makeup lessons are arranged subject to your tutor’s availability. Cancellations within 24 hours, without a valid reason, are charged at half the lesson price.
Is homework set, and can students ask questions between lessons?
Homework is set and marked to check understanding from the previous lesson. If it isn’t completed, we let the parent know. Tutors aim to reply to student questions within a day, and more quickly during exam periods.
How do I pay?
Pay as you go by card on file, or in cash immediately before or after an in-person lesson. Pay for the term upfront to receive one lesson free (pay for 9, receive 10). There are no lock-in contracts.
